Growing up in the pre-cable universe, I did homework in the glow of a black white set every afternoon. My favorite show was The Andy Griffith Show, and Barney Fife was the best part. Imagine my surprise a few years later when we got a color set, and I realized that AGS was actually shot in black and white.
