Ty Cobb’s lifetime batting average is .367.  In the world of agent queries, SOUL TACO, is batting a cool .500, which means that out of the twelve agents who have responded to my equeries, six have requested fulls or partials.  I know better than to get excited by these early numbers.  It’s still Spring training for Taco, and there’s a long season ahead.

But still…

I have read the hook for TACO SOUL and I am not at all surprised by the attention it’s getting.

    Hooray! And good luck!

I hope it’s a Hank Aaron homer and not a Barry Bonds.

Having had the pleasure of a sneak peek at Soul Taco, I can tell you I’m not surprised in the least that you’re being courted by agents. It’ll be no time before editors do the same. Let the bidding wars begin!

.500 is good. It only takes one big hit to score.
