My ALA Schedules

I’ll be attend­ing ALA’s Annual meet­ing in Chicago this week­end. Since I’m going as both an author and Past-President of ALAN (www.alan-ya.org), I have both an offi­cial author sched­ule and an unof­fi­cial pro­fes­sional /fanboy sched­ule. Author Sched­ule:

Sat­ur­day: HARPER FICTION BREAKFAST — 7:15 –9AM — Inter­Con­ti­nen­tal Chicago, 505 N Michi­gan Ave. — 3rd Floor, King Arthur Court.

Sat­ur­day: FIRST NOVELIST BOOK SIGNING — 10-11AM – Harper­Collins Booth #2011 – Exhi­bi­tion Hall – Sign­ing copies of Soul Enchi­lada and mak­ing faces at my fel­low Green­wil­lowite, Cindy Pon.

Fan­boy Sched­ule:

SATURDAY: A cou­ple of recep­tions and an Abram’s celebration.

SUNDAY: YA Cof­fee Klatch (if I can score a ticket from some­one who can’t attend [hint, hint])

SUNDAY: Slip­ping in the back after dessert’s served at the Newbery/Caldecott.

MONDAY: Din­ner with Lit­tle Brown

MONDAY: Printz Awards

Oth­er­wise, I’ll gen­er­ally be stalk­ing Lau­rie Halse Ander­son and nar­rowly miss­ing David Lubar, as usual
