Celebrating Diana Wynne Jones

One of my favorite nov­els (and anime adap­ta­tions) is Howl’s Mov­ing Cas­tle. One of my son’s favorite series was the Chrestom­anci books. The author of these is Diana Wynne Jones. When Diana passed away last year, it was like los­ing a dear friend, one who only brought us good­ies and never asked to bor­row money or hand tools. So I was very happy when I received the note below from Diana’s US pub­lish­ers. It is hard to believe that a year has passed since we lost Diana Wynne Jones. This spring Diana’s pub­lish­ers around the world will be jointly remem­ber­ing this won­der­ful author’s life and work dur­ing an online cel­e­bra­tion and extrav­a­ganza.
