Slogging

Today was a slog, in fiction and real life. Very few good words, none of them special. My narrator has lost that loving feeling. This is a lot easier when she’s telling the story instead of making me do it.

In other news, I played around with my under-developed website by posting some vintage short stories of mine. I plan to keep adding a few pieces here and there, fiction and non-fiction.

And finally, my oldest passed his driving test today. He is now legally licensed to drive solo. If you’re on the road this weekend, be afraid. Be very afraid.

I just heard on MSNBC that a recent study shows a woman, aged 82, is statistically a safer driver than a 18-year-old male. YIKES! Buckle up! 🙂

Ironically, my son drives like an 82 year-old woman. I’m the only dad I know who tells his teenager to go faster.
