I’m ramping up to start a new novel, a mystery. Plotting out elements. Brainstorming characters. Looking through photos for settings and physical traits. Who am I kidding? I’ve never written a mystery before; I have no idea how to do it. In fact, all memory of even how to write a novel has left me. Every time I begin a new work, it’s like learning how to write from scratch.

Maybe it would be easier if I had three Weenies like

Mysteries are mysterious, is all I’m saying.

Just don’t say whodunnit until the end, and don’t have it be a character you’ve never even mentioned before, and I’m sure it’ll all work out. Maybe.
